Marketplace fees

Uber Eats delivery fee for restaurants

Uber Eats charges a restaurant a marketplace fee of 20%, 25%, or 30% on delivery orders, by plan, and 7% on pickup. This page lists each fee from Uber's own pricing page and prices it at three sales levels.

Uber Eats fees by plan

Uber Eats calls its commission the marketplace fee. It is a share of each order, so it grows with your sales. Plus and Premium start with a 0% intro rate for 30 days.

  • Lite: Delivery orders 20%, Pickup orders 7%
  • Plus: Delivery orders 25%, Pickup orders 7%
  • Premium: Delivery orders 30%, Pickup orders 7%
  • Pickup is 7% when you show that in-app pickup prices match in-store prices, and 10% without that proof.
  • On Plus, orders from Uber One members cost an extra 5%. Premium includes them at no extra cost.
  • Lite starts lower in some cities, at 15% in places such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle, so your rate may differ.
  • The page names payment processing fees in some cities, 3% in New York City, but gives no amount for the rest.
  • Webshop, its commission-free ordering site, charges 2.5% plus $0.29 an order for processing.

Uber Eats fees on a month of sales

The marketplace fee on $3,000, $6,000, or $12,000 of a month's sales, plan by plan.

Plan$3,000 a month$6,000 a month$12,000 a month
Lite, 20%$600$1,200$2,400
Plus, 25%$750$1,500$3,000
Premium, 30%$900$1,800$3,600
Appetier Growth, same sales ordered direct$246$129 Growth fee plus $117 card processing$433$199 Growth fee plus $234 card processing$667$199 Growth fee plus $468 card processing

Uber Eats does not publish its card processing fee on this page, so it is left out and each Uber Eats figure is a minimum.

Each column prices the same month of sales on both sides, at a $30 average order. It assumes every dollar sold here would be ordered direct instead, which will not happen in full. Treat it as a scale, not a forecast.

What the same sales cost direct on Appetier

Appetier Growth charges a flat monthly fee set by your direct sales. A month up to $500 is free, and the fee stops at $199 a location. Card processing is extra, at the standard online rate of 2.9% + 30¢ an order or your own processor's rate. No order carries a commission.

What Appetier does not do

Appetier does not take, route, or manage Uber Eats orders, and it charges nothing on them. They stay in Uber Eats's own tools, under your Uber Eats plan. The point is to move your regulars onto your own ordering site, where the Growth fee applies instead. A marketplace can bring guests who would never find you otherwise, so keep it for that.

Uber Eats fee questions

How much is the Uber Eats delivery fee for restaurants?
Uber Eats charges 20% on Lite, 25% on Plus, and 30% on Premium for delivery orders, and 7% on pickup with validated in-store pricing. We read its pricing page on October 23, 2026.
What are the Uber Eats fees besides the marketplace fee?
Plus adds 5% on Uber One member orders. Pickup is 10% without proof of in-store pricing. The page also mentions payment processing fees in some cities but does not state an amount for most.
Is the Uber Eats fee the same in every city?
No. Uber lists lower Lite rates in some cities, such as 15% in Los Angeles, and says marketplace fees may differ under local rules. Check your own rate in Uber Eats Manager.
Does Appetier charge a fee on Uber Eats orders?
No. Appetier does not receive or route Uber Eats orders and charges nothing on them. Its Growth fee applies only to orders placed directly with your restaurant.
How do I pay Uber Eats less in fees?
A regular who orders on your own site pays no marketplace fee. On Appetier you pay the flat Growth fee plus card processing instead, and whether that costs less depends on your sales mix.
