Bars

Bar online ordering that takes the round from the table

Guests scan a code at their table and order and pay from their own phone. Each round is paid when it's ordered, so nobody leaves with a tab still open.

Works withand any system that gives you API access

The bar is three deep and the kitchen is quiet

A full room doesn't mean a full ticket rail. Guests who can't reach the bar don't order the second round, or the food.

  • Guests wait ten minutes to order a second round.
  • The food menu sits unread on the table.
  • A tab walks out at close.
  • Tonight's taps aren't on the printed menu.
  • A party of thirty asks for the back room by text.

QR code ordering for bars that also sell food

Your menu lives on your own ordering page, and the table number travels with every order.

01

Order from the table

The code on each table opens your menu. The order reaches the bar and the kitchen with the table number on it.

02

Every round paid when ordered

There are no open tabs. Each round is its own paid order, and table orders count toward the Growth fee.

03

A menu board for the brewery or taproom

Put the menu on any TV or tablet browser, with live prices and a QR code to order. Sold-out items drop off it.

04

Food orders for pickup

Guests order food ahead on your site, for now or up to 14 days out. A second screen shows a code and a first name when it's ready.

05

Tables and a waitlist

Guests book a table on your own site, or join the waitlist from a code at the door. There's no table map and no deposit on a table.

06

Event booking for the back room, with a deposit

A guest asks for a date, you send a quote, and they accept on a link and pay the deposit. Deposits need Stripe.

07

One ticket stream for the bar and the kitchen

Orders from every channel show as tickets on a tablet you own. A tap marks one ready.

What happens between Saturdays

Sous is Appetier's AI agent. It keeps the bar visible online on the days you're closed, within limits you set.

01

Hours that match on Google

Once you connect Google, Sous checks your listing every week and corrects hours and links that have gone stale.

02

Regulars invited back

A regular who hasn't been in for a while gets an invitation back, inside your discount limit and outside quiet hours.

03

Posts from your own photos

Sous drafts as many as three posts a week from your photos and menu, and each one waits for your OK unless you loosen that.

04

Quotes drafted for you

When a party asks about the back room, Sous fills in the quote and leaves sending it to you.

Ready before Friday's doors

There's no hardware to buy. You print the table codes yourself.

01

Photograph the menu, upload the logo

Appetier turns the photo into your menu and picks up the logo's colors. You read the draft over before it's applied.

02

Print a code for each table

Each table gets its own code, and an order placed from it carries that table's number.

03

Save a card and publish

To publish, a bar needs a priced item, a location with opening hours, and a saved card. That card is how Appetier verifies you, and it isn't charged.

Pay on the nights you sell

One fee on direct orders, with a cap.

01

Nothing until orders come in

The fee is 5% of direct orders and stops at $199 a month for each location. A closed week adds nothing to it.

Your bar's menu, the way a table sees it

Give the test drive your bar's website and it builds your ordering page in private. It costs nothing and needs no card or call. No site yet? A logo and a menu photo are enough to start free.

Your bar keeps its POS

Link Square, Clover, or Toast, and a price change or a sold-out item shows up on your menu without retyping. Card payments go through Stripe, or through the processor you have now.

Bar ordering FAQs

What bar, brewery, and taproom owners ask first.

Can guests run a tab with QR code ordering?
No. Each round is paid when it's ordered, so there are no open tabs. A guest who wants another round scans the code again.
Does Appetier check a guest's ID?
No. Your staff check ID when they bring the round to the table, the way they do today.
Do I need a POS to take orders at the table?
No. Your menu lives in Appetier, and orders show on a kitchen display. If you ring up on Square, Clover, or Toast, link it and the menu and prices stay the same in both places.
Can a brewery or taproom show tonight's list on a TV?
Yes. The menu board runs in any tablet or smart TV browser, with live prices and a QR code to order. A sold-out item drops off without a publish step.
Can I take a deposit for a private party?
Yes. You send a quote, the client accepts on a link with a typed name, and the deposit is charged then. Deposits need Stripe.
What does online ordering cost a bar?
Table orders are direct orders, so they pay 5%. The fee for one location never passes $199 in a month.
