A company built to reverse the economics of restaurant technology.

The restaurant industry is one of the largest employers in the world, yet small operators are routinely burdened by high fees, opaque pricing, and fragmented technology sold by vendors who are themselves customers of other technology layers. This compounds costs and limits the ability of restaurant owners to create stable, well-paying jobs or invest back into their communities. Appetier aims to reverse that dynamic by building an engineering-founded company that removes unnecessary intermediaries and reduces the cost of running modern restaurant operations.

Appetier is led by Shady Alzayat, bringing product engineering leadership and hands-on execution from first build to real-world scale.

Shady Alzayat

Shady is an engineering leader with 15+ years shipping web, mobile, and cloud products from prototype through launch while staying hands-on in the code.

He has led high-performing e-commerce engineering programs at Tillster and shipped 30+ products end-to-end across startup and enterprise environments.

He also brings hospitality operations experience, including leading a coworking space turnaround at Club Quarters Hotels through digital transformation and growth-focused tooling.

Before Appetier, he co-founded and built products like a GPS-powered B2B on-demand tool delivery platform.
