Ghost kitchens

Ghost kitchen software that puts every delivery order on one screen

DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub orders land in one queue beside your direct orders. Appetier takes no fee on marketplace orders, and each brand gets its own ordering site.

Works withand any system that gives you API access

No dining room, and the counter still fills with tablets

Every delivery app ships its own tablet, and a delivery kitchen runs on all of them at once.

  • Three tablets chime for three different apps.
  • A sold-out item stays live on two of them.
  • Tickets get retyped by hand at the rush.
  • Regulars have no way to order from you directly.
  • Nobody knows which channel made money this week.

Ghost kitchen order management, from the first ticket to the handoff

Marketplaces bring new guests. Appetier puts their orders in one place and gives your regulars a direct way to reorder.

01

One queue for every delivery app

DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub orders land in one queue and print in your POS. You connect each marketplace once.

02

One kitchen display

Orders from every channel show as tickets on a tablet you already own. Tap a ticket and it's marked ready.

03

A direct ordering site for each virtual brand

Guests order on your own site and pay at your own checkout. A new brand's first location is live in minutes, built from its logo and a photo of its menu.

04

Couriers without your own drivers

DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct couriers deliver your direct orders, and guests track them. The courier's price passes through with no markup.

05

Sold out everywhere at once

Connect Square, Clover, or Toast, and a sold-out item comes off your site and your marketplace menus. Yelp can hold a change for up to two weeks.

06

Orders booked ahead

Guests schedule a direct order up to 14 days out. You set how far ahead and how many orders fit in each slot.

07

Revenue by channel

One report splits revenue and order count by channel, so you can compare a marketplace week with a direct one.

The work a delivery kitchen never gets to

Sous is Appetier's AI agent. It takes the upkeep a delivery kitchen skips, as far as you let it.

01

Descriptions for every item

Every item on your delivery menu gets a description, and Sous flags the ones with no photo. It leaves prices alone unless you say otherwise.

02

Google reviews answered in your brand's voice

Sous replies to each Google review, and anything at three stars or below waits for you.

03

Regulars invited back

A guest who ordered direct and then went quiet gets an invitation back, with a discount no bigger than you allow.

04

Each week, what changed and what it sold

A weekly page lists what Sous changed and the direct orders that came after, and one switch pauses it.

From a rented kitchen to live in three steps

There's no hardware to buy. A tablet you own runs the kitchen display.

01

Start with a logo and your delivery menu

Upload both, and Appetier drafts the menu from the photo in your logo's colors. Nothing goes live until you've checked the draft.

02

Connect your marketplaces

Link DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub once each. Their orders start landing in the queue.

03

Save a card and publish

A brand publishes with one priced item, a location that can sell, and a card on file. No money moves when you save that card.

Each brand pays up to its own cap

The fee applies to direct orders only, and each brand you run has its own storefront and its own cap.

01

No fee on marketplace orders

Each brand pays 5% of its direct orders, up to $199 a month per location. Its marketplace orders carry no Appetier fee.

Your delivery menu, on an ordering site with your name on it

If your brand has a website, the test drive builds an ordering site from it, privately and at no cost. No card, no sales call. A brand with no site starts free from a logo and a menu photo.

A guest orders a Double Royale on a brioche bun with fries on a phone, picks a Royal Burger store, pays, and sees the order confirmed
  1. Open the burger
  2. Pick the bun
  3. Add the fries
  4. Add it to the order
  5. Pick the store
  6. Go to checkout
  7. Place the order
  8. See it confirmed

The delivery apps and POS already in your kitchen

Ghost kitchen FAQs

What delivery kitchen operators ask first.

What is ghost kitchen software?
It's the software a delivery-only kitchen runs orders on. Some call that kitchen a cloud kitchen or a virtual kitchen. Appetier puts DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and direct orders in one queue, on one kitchen display, with no fee on the marketplace ones.
Does Appetier charge a fee on DoorDash or Uber Eats orders?
No. Marketplace orders carry no Appetier commission and no markup. The Growth fee applies to direct orders only.
Can I run several virtual restaurant brands from one kitchen?
Yes. Each brand has its own storefront, its own menu, and its own fee cap. Each one connects its marketplaces separately.
Do I need a POS to run a ghost kitchen on Appetier?
No. Your menu lives in Appetier, and orders show on the kitchen display. A Square, Clover, or Toast connection is there if you want sold-out items and prices to follow your POS.
How do direct orders get delivered without my own drivers?
DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct couriers pick up your direct orders, and guests track them. You pay the courier's price with no markup, and delivery fees don't count toward the Growth fee.
How fast can a delivery brand go live?
In minutes for the first location, from a logo and a photo of the menu. To publish, the brand needs one priced item and a card on file, and the card isn't charged.
