Integration detail

Appetier + GrabFood integration

GrabFood runs inside the wider Grab app across Southeast Asia, not as a standalone service. Its orders stay in Grab's own tools.

What works

With your access: GrabFood orders are taken and managed in Grab's own tools, in the GrabMerchant app, under your Grab agreement. GrabFood serves Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

On our own: Appetier runs your direct ordering site, with its fee on direct orders only. GrabFood orders stay in Grab's own tools, under your Grab commission plan.

What it does

Runs your direct ordering site, with one fee on direct orders only. GrabFood orders are taken and managed in GrabMerchant, as they are today.

Who it's for

Southeast Asian restaurants running GrabFood who want to grow orders on their own site.

Where GrabFood orders stay

GrabFood orders are taken in the GrabMerchant app. Your Grab agreement covers the commission and payouts.

GrabFood lives inside the Grab app

GrabFood isn't a separate app. Guests order it from the same Grab app they use for rides and payments, in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The guest pays Grab, and Grab's riders deliver the order.

GrabMerchant is where you work

GrabFood orders show up in the GrabMerchant app, which runs on iOS 12 or Android 10 and newer. Merchants confirm, prepare, and track each order there, and edit the GrabFood menu and item availability there too. Your Grab agreement, commission, and payouts stay as Grab set them.

What Appetier does on its own

Appetier gives you a storefront where guests order from you directly. Its fee counts only orders through Appetier, online or in your store. Appetier never touches a GrabFood order.
