Integration detail

Appetier + Facebook integration

Regulars check the Facebook Page before they drive over. The Page should sound like you, and carry a post now and then.

What works

With your access: Sign in with Meta on its own consent screen and pick your Page. No key is pasted. Appetier publishes the posts you approve and reads your Page's short bio and about text each week. It changes them only after you approve.

On our own: Without access, Appetier still drafts your Page posts from your own dishes and photos for you to publish yourself.

What it does

Publishes the Page posts you approve and compares your Page's short bio and about text with your saved details each week.

Who it's for

Restaurants whose regulars check the Facebook Page.

The short bio and about text get a weekly look

Appetier reads your Page's short bio and about text each week and compares them with your tagline and description. When they differ, it proposes the change and waits for your approval. Hours, website, phone, and the cover photo are not checked, so keep those current in Facebook yourself.

Posts go out at their time and can come back down

Appetier drafts neighborly Page posts from your own dishes and photos, as text, an image, or a video. Each goes out at its time once approved. Facebook lets a post be deleted, so undoing one removes it from the Page. Comments, messages, and paid promotion stay with you.

You set the order button in Facebook, once

Meta retired the API call that changed a Page's action button, so no outside tool can point it anymore, Appetier included. Set it from the Page's settings: pick a button that opens a link, and paste your storefront address. It takes a minute and rarely needs redoing. The address stays the same when dishes or prices change.

How Facebook connects

You connect Facebook from the console through Meta's own consent screen, never by pasting a key. One approval connects your Facebook Page and the Instagram account linked to it. The console shows the account name, when it connected, and the last error. Disconnect it, and the tokens are deleted at once. A data deletion request sent through Meta deletes them too.
