Integration detail
Appetier + Shopify POS integration
If your counter runs on Shopify POS, your menu stays matched with no double entry. You connect through Shopify's own approval screen, or with a custom app token from your own shop.
What works
With your access: Enter your myshopify.com address and approve Appetier on Shopify's consent screen, or paste the admin token of a custom app you create in your own shop. Appetier reads products, variants, prices, stock, and POS sales. It sets an item sold out or changes a price only after an owner approves.
On our own: Appetier takes direct orders on your storefront and fulfills them on its order and kitchen screens. Or run Appetier POS, free in Growth, on your own hardware.
What it does
Appetier reads products, variants, prices, and stock at each location, plus POS sales. Sous can set an item sold out or change its price in Shopify after an owner approves.
Who it's for
Restaurants and cafés that sell at the counter with Shopify POS.
Your Shopify products stay matched, variant by variant
Shopify keeps each menu item as a product, and each size or option as a variant with its own price. Appetier reads every active product at each location you map. A product with several variants shows each variant. Stock comes across where Shopify tracks it.
Sold out means a count of zero
Shopify has no sold out switch per location. It stops selling an item when its tracked count reaches zero. When an owner tells Sous to 86 the fries at Downtown, Appetier sets that location's count to zero, and the fries come off your online menu there too. Undo puts back the count it removed. If Shopify does not track an item's stock, Sous says so and points you to tracking in Shopify first.
One price, everywhere you sell
A Shopify product has one price for every location and your online store. So Sous only proposes a new price for every mapped location at once. Nothing changes in Shopify until an owner approves. If someone changed the price at the register first, Appetier refuses to overwrite it.
Connect with your shop's own sign-in
You enter your myshopify.com address, then approve Appetier on Shopify's consent screen. Or you create a custom app in your own shop and paste its admin token. A custom domain is refused. Sales reads count only orders rung up at the mapped location's register, never your online store's orders, and never a guest's name or card. Orders from your Appetier storefront are fulfilled in Appetier and are not sent to Shopify as tickets.
