How the features compare

Feature
Appetier
Popmenu
Direct ordering
Ordering on your own domain and branded apps, with catering. No commission on direct orders and no fee on the guest's bill. Cards run on Appetier Pay at 2.9% + 30¢ online, or on any PCI compliant processor you keep. Curbside guests tap "I'm here" on their order page, with no live location tracking. A pre-order event caps each item, one location at a time. Keep your current site and paste in the menu and order button, and payment opens the storefront in a new tab. Marketplace orders are never charged, and Uber Direct couriers deliver with no markup.[1][13][14]
Online ordering and catering are an add-on on every plan, with in-house and DoorDash delivery, curbside pickup, and dine-in QR ordering. Ordering events take limited-time pre-orders. Popmenu also sells a branded app and a tablet that gathers delivery app orders in one place.[4][11][8][9]
Website and local SEO
Guests find you on Google and land on your checkout. Location pages and Google Business updates publish on a schedule. A weekly check keeps Apple Maps, Yelp, and Facebook matched, and Sous replies to Google reviews while low ratings go to you. Guests who ordered a dish rate and review it on the menu. The stars may not show in Google results, and silent dish clips of up to 15 seconds play there as a reel. Dishes show calories once you confirm them. One page shows your Google reviews and response rate by location, and it reads Google reviews only.[3][15]
Every plan includes an SEO-driven website, Google Business Profile sync, and an interactive menu with dish reviews, likes, and dish videos. A menu embed adds that menu to an existing site. Premier adds reputation management for listings and reviews, and the pricing page marks AI review replies as coming soon.[4][10]
Loyalty and CRM
You keep your guests' contact details and order history. Loyalty and gift cards sit inside checkout, and winback and birthday campaigns run inside limits you set. Members from another loyalty provider keep their points: you upload the exported file, and each claims a balance with the same email. Sous drafts each location's month of emails, texts, posts, and offers, and you review it in one sitting. A marketing text can carry a photo, counted as three texts. Each location includes 1,500 marketing texts and 10,000 marketing emails a month.[1][16]
Automated email comes with every plan, and MMS is an add-on on each. Essentials adds 500 texts a month, and Premier adds 5,000 texts and segmentation. Essentials and Premier include six AI-crafted emails and social posts a month, and the AI marketing page describes a monthly content calendar for each location. The loyalty page says points loyalty comes with every plan, at one point per dollar spent, and that members import from another provider with their balances.[4][7][12]
POS sync
Run the counter on tablets you bring. Appetier POS and the self-order kiosk come with Growth. Keep your own POS instead and prices, hours, and sold-out items update from it on your site and apps. Appetier Pay takes cards in person on readers bought from Appetier, or you keep your provider's readers if they connect. Appetier also sells kiosk and kitchen display hardware at cost, and card readers.[2]
The integrations page lists several POS systems, with online orders sent to the POS.[5]
